Welcome to Wussup.live! By using our website or booking a video call with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing a booking.

1. About the Platform

1.1. Our Service: Wussup.live is an online platform that allows you to schedule and book one-on-one video calls (“Sessions”) with our team.

1.2. Who We Are: Wussup.live is owned and operated by a Sole Trader registered in New Zealand. Throughout this document, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Wussup.live.

2. Age Requirement (18+)

2.1. 18 and Older Only: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book a Session on Wussup.live.

2.2. Verification: By booking a Session, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If we reasonably suspect you are under 18, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and terminate your access immediately without issuing a refund.

3. Bookings and Payments

3.1. Currency: All prices on Wussup.live are listed in United States Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely via third-party providers like Stripe.

3.2. Payment Authorization: When you complete checkout, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total booking amount.

3.3. Session Length: Your payment secures the specific call duration chosen at checkout (for example, 15, 30, or 60 minutes).

4. Language Requirements

4.1. Spoken English Default: To ensure clear communication, all Sessions are conducted in spoken English, unless both you and the host explicitly agree in writing prior to the call to use another language.

4.2. No Refunds for Language Barriers: If a Session cannot proceed or is cut short because of a language barrier—and no prior written agreement was made—the booking is not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling, Late Arrivals, and No-Refund Policy

5.1. All Sales Are Final (No Refunds): As a general rule, bookings are non-refundable and we do not offer refunds for outright cancellations. Except where required by non-excludable statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, payments for Sessions cannot be refunded once confirmed.

5.2. Rescheduling (24+ Hours Notice): You may request to reschedule your scheduled Session at no additional cost by emailing us at hello@wussup.live at least 24 hours prior to the original booking start time. Each booking is limited to one reschedule. Rescheduling requests submitted less than 24 hours before the start time are not permitted, and the full Session fee will be forfeited if you are unable to attend.

5.3. Late Arrival Window and No-Shows:

Hosts will remain in the virtual meeting room for a strict grace period measured from the scheduled start time, determined by the duration of the booked Session:

15-Minute Sessions: Five (5) minute grace period.
30-Minute Sessions: Ten (10) minute grace period.
60-Minute Sessions: Fifteen (15) minute grace period.

If you fail to join the meeting room within the applicable grace period for your Session length, the Session will be deemed a “No-Show.”

Upon expiration of the grace period, the Host is under no obligation to remain in the meeting room, prolong the Session past the originally scheduled end time, or offer makeup time. No-Show bookings are considered fully rendered services, and all associated booking fees are non-refundable.

5.4. Hardware & Connection: You are responsible for ensuring your webcam, microphone, and internet connection are working prior to the call. Wussup.live is not responsible (and will not issue refunds) for dropped connections or technical glitches on your end.

6. Conduct and Liability

6.1. Prohibited Behaviour: You agree not to use Wussup.live or video calls for illegal acts, harassment, hate speech, explicit content, or abusive behavior. We reserve the right to end any call immediately and ban users engaging in misconduct without a refund.

6.2. Informational Disclaimer: Content exchanged during a Session is for general conversation and informational purposes only. It does not constitute formal legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.

6.3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wussup.live is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the site or attendance of any call.

7. Governing Law

7.1. These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of New Zealand. Any formal legal disputes will be handled exclusively in New Zealand courts.

8. Updates

8.1. We may update these Terms occasionally. Any changes take effect as soon as they are published on the website.
